Jim Beam’s “The Call” campaign celebrated the excitement of announcing a drinking occasion. Calling out to your mates for a Jim Beam evolves to a unique call for everyone. The challenge for the app was to facilitate the capture and sharing of every ones individual call. Technically, the solution needed to manage a the creation and upload of videos to a server and then the deployment back to the app for community discovery.
Nomad developed a custom video creation and management tool that allowed users to view a list of community calls, contribute their own and share with social media. Adaptive bitrate streaming, custom metro style navigation and social sharing tools were key the success of the app.
The app was a core element in Jim Beams campaign attracting over 30,000 interactions and an enormous volume of multi channel user generated content.
