Challenge

As part of their new in store marketing activity, Swisse Multivitamins engaged Nomad to develop an in store iPad solution.
The iPad app needed to provide users with comprehensive product information and recommendation while adhering to government guidelines.
Importantly, the app needed to cater for quick and simple interactions at a retail level while providing valuable and relevant information to the user.

Response

Nomad developed an iPad application that is integrated with Swisse’ existing product CMS allowing remote updates for product changes.
The Swisse iPad app helps shoppers to find products relevant to them as well as useful product information.

When not in use, the app rotates promotional footage of Swisse ambassadors and TVC’s

With the app installed on non iPad’s that do not  have a web connection, Nomad developed the solution to allow Swisse field force users to interact in an admin mode, and connect to the iPad through an iPhone mode allowing them to automatically update product information and push analytics data with the press of a button.

Results

The iPad app has provided a valuable point of difference for Swisse in a competitive retail space.
Interactions with the app are comparable to the Swisse PC website.
Swisse has essentially extended its digital presence beyond the PC and into retail.
