When Merivale reviewed their Google Analytics, it was clear that there was a significant trend towards mobile browsing. Our brief was to provide Merivale’s target audience access to Merivale information via mobile phone.
Nomad created a mobile website with core Merivale content pulling from the CMS, answering the users question “What’s on?”. This means that anytime Merivale updates their PC site, it automatically updates the mobile site with no additional work or maintenance.
Analytics show specific trends of users disconnecting from their PC’s and expected evening and weekend times and accessing the mobile site instead. In the first 6 months, the site has outperformed restaurant PC web site figures – a big success for the small screen.
Venue interactions through mobile increased by over 250%
