Split the Bill App

Not sure of the in’s and out’s of this application (whether you all have to have ANZ accounts etc) .. but I like the concept.

More than 500,000 Aussies and 25,000 Kiwis have signed up for ANZ goMoney, an iPhone app that makes searching for small change to square up the bill a thing of the past.

It allows diners to split bills any way they choose without having to ask for change or swap bank account details.

Some restaurants and cafes remain reluctant to split bills for large groups, especially on weekends. Now one of the group can pay the entire bill and their friends simply enter the recipient’s mobile phone number and the amount into the app. Full article by news.com
