MOBILE AGENCY NOMAD LAUNCHES RED BALLOON MOBILE SITE

Now you can “Give An Experience” on the go, with the new Red Balloon mobile site.

Challenger mobile agency Nomad has launched a mobile-friendly site for experience gift company Red Balloon, compressing the Learn, Choose, Buy journey into a small screen-friendly five page process. Optimised to work across a range of mobile devices running the Apple or Android OS, the mobile site pulls in data directly from the website content management system across Red Balloon’s range of around 2,000 products from more than 200 categories.

Nomad Business Director David McGowan said “we’ve managed to funnel a complex e-commerce PC site into a streamlined mobile destination with a simple user-flow to capture the time-poor mobile gift-buyer we identified in our research.”

“Our consumers increasingly require mobile access to our product, and we’re delighted with the mobile site Nomad has created, particularly the incorporation of Twitter and Facebook shareability to facilitate collaborative gift-buying, and of course gift-hinting in the lead up to Christmas.” said Jemma Fastnedge, General Manager, Red Balloon Corporate.

Despite largely flying under the radar, Nomad has amassed an impressive range of clients in its first year. Nomad has represented Taronga Zoo, Merivale, Nickelodeon, Levi’s, Sydney Theatre Company and Universal Pictures. Nomad has worked with several advertising agencies across these projects including Deepend, Tongue, Evocatif and Host.

Nomad has also recently launched an exciting interactive iPhone app game for Taronga Zoo which enhances the way kids experience the zoo and has been downloaded 70, 000 times since its September launch, and reached number one in its category in the App Store.
