The Kick Ass Reward campaign supporting the movie release of the same name included a real world treasure hunt where entrants were motivated to find the location of a super hero held hostage to receive a $20,000 reward. Regular clues were made available via Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, SMS and phone call, all driving the user back to the campaign site for continued brand engagement. Working with agency Tongue, Nomad’s role was to create interactive channels of communication for competition entrants to access instant information and clues for the campaign.
Nomad created a solution that allowed competition entrants to opt in for regular SMS updates for clues. Users could also make a local phone call to an actor for voice clues.
The campaign was a fantastic success driving high traffic from multiple media types to build brand awareness for the movie release.
